Cal State San Marcos

About the Artist

Hey! My name is Donovan Olson and this here is my blog.  I was born in La Jolla and have lived in San Marcos, CA practically my entire life.  I’m currently student at Cal State San Marcos and am majoring in the visual arts.  I made this blog for one my classes, and I have used for a number of different classes since then.  My whole life I’ve been more focused on my drawings, but I’ve always had an appreciation for photography and graphic design.  It’s my goal to improve my design and photography skills, and learn some things that will prove beneficial to my career path. 1. Donovan!! Hey, I was just had a meeting with Deborah Small today and we were discussing a number of students. Your name came up because your blog is always updated and full of helpful information. You have a great eye for landscape photography and graphic arts! I also ran into your sister!! Small world! She is so sweet! I will be on campus next semester as a TA! We should try to get together and shoot. HI Nancy, thanks for the kind comments. I’m gonna be doing a photography internship at Cal State this semester, so I will be around campus from time to time as well. Shooting together would be fun. That’s funny that you ran into my sister, small world indeed. And as far as the MFA program at SDSU goes, it’s definitely something I’d be interested in. Hope to see you around campus!

    Hi Donovan,

How much for the Mad Men poster? I’ve been looking for a poster exactly like it for a while now and I would love to have a copy, yours looks great! Please let me know.

    Thank you!

Hi Lisa, the Mad Men poster actually isn’t mine, that’s just an example I was using in the article. Sorry about that.
